“If there’s one dessert that’s ABSOLUTELY timeless, it has to be the banana split. It has taken on so many variations over the years, and yet remains the same delicious dessert that it is. But perhaps three ice cream scoops over a banana drizzled with chocolate syrup may be too much for your diet. So in spirit of NATIONAL BANANA SPLIT DAY, we’ve created a guilt-free Nuttvia banana split recipe that you can easily make! You actually don’t need much to make it healthier – just yogurt, banana, Nuttvia, almonds, and coconut flakes. It’s a straightforward recipe that leaves you with a delicious banana split in just 5 minutes. With such a wonderful play of flavours in your mouth, can there be a better way to celebrate Banana Split Day?

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 Banana

2 tablespoons Nuttvia

¼ cup Greek Yoghurt

1 tablespoon roasted almonds

1 tablespoon coconut flakes

 METHOD:

Slice the banana lengthways and place on a plate with the cut sides facing up.

Dollop half of the Nuttvia over the top. If Nuttvia is quite firm, heat in the microwave for 20 seconds.

Dollop yoghurt over the top.

Sprinkle over the almonds and desiccated coconut.

Drizzle over the remaining Nuttvia and serve.
